Eating out

Where to eat during your visit to Mont-Dauphin ?

In the fortified village

Auberge de l'Échauguette

Célia and Guillaume, two mountain lovers with Italian roots, welcome you to l'Auberge de l'Échauguette, a place for sharing and serving cuisine from Nice, Piedmont and Savoie.

From socca (a chickpea flour cake), which Célia has eaten with her fingers since she was a child, to matouille de Savoie (a Savoy dish), not forgetting gnocchi à la daube, their dishes are mainly cooked in a charcoal oven.

The restaurant offers small, medium and large portions to share, either indoors in an 18th-century house or outside on a sunny terrace overlooking a charming garden.

Célia and Guillaume also offer sandwiches, drinks and local produce in their grocery shop, which is open all year round.
