Educational offer

The educational activities department offers a wide range of workshops and tours that meet the requirements of school curricula, so you can discover the monument with your classes.

Our team of cultural mediators is in charge of running the workshops and tours. Trained to address school audiences, they adapt their approach to the skills and levels of your students.

The Education Department is at your disposal to help you define your visit project.

Reservation

Reservation requests should be sent by e-mail to manon.assenat@monuments-nationaux.fr and include the following information:

  • Date and time of visit requested
  • Name of institution or organization
  • Administrative address of the institution 
  • Last name, first name, cell phone number and e-mail address of the person in charge of the group
  • Number of students
  • Number of accompanying persons (teachers, parents, driver, etc.)
  • Type of visit required
  • Will disabled pupils/students be taking part in the visit?
  • Is this visit part of a specific educational project?

Once we have received your request, we will examine its feasibility and, if necessary, send you a booking confirmation to present at the ticket office on the day of your visit, together with a method of payment.

Prices

Discovery tour (1h30)

Led by a cultural mediator, the discovery tour allows you to discover the monument through a specific theme.

Full price: €90.

 

 

Heritage workshop (2h30)

Conducted by a cultural mediator, the heritage workshop includes a thematic visit and time for creative art in the educational room.

Full price: 130€.

 

 

The visit includes admission to the monument and the activity for a group of 30 students and 5 accompanying adults
Rate per additional accompanying adult: €5.

Rules and regulations

Reservations are mandatory.

Payment can be made on site in cash, by cheque made payable to "régisseur de recettes de la place forte de Mont-Dauphin", or by credit card.

Visit conditions

We can accommodate two classes in the same time slot (visit on one side, workshop on the other), enabling you to share transport costs.

The plantation's shaded green space is ideal for picnics! A room may be available for classes to have lunch in bad weather (please contact us).
